What types of care services do you provide?

Vida Care Homes provide light and intermediate care including respite services. Residents who can climb and descend some steps independently and who are not at risk of wandering.

What qualifications do your staff have?

Our staff meet all the certification and training required through Ministry of Health this includes Personal Care, First Aid, Food Sanitation, Medication Assistance, Fire Emergency, Outbreak and Infection Control training and more.

What are the living arrangements like?

We have 2 single private rooms and 1 shared room available. Each room comes with a bed, dresser, nightstand, mirror, and chair. Residents can bring their own furnishings if they prefer. Our residents are encouraged to use the shared spaces and live independently without worries. We take care of the household chores so they can enjoy the amenities.

Do you offer parking space for residents?

Absolutely! We have a parking lot at the entrance of our building, and a spot will be assigned to residents with a vehicle at no extra cost.

What kind of amenities and activities do you offer?

Our residents are welcome to use our shared spaces for various activities such as movie nights, cooking, and family dinners. They can also enjoy outdoor activities like story time by the fire pit, reading, lounging, dining, and participating in our frequent BBQ gatherings. There are plenty of other activities too, such as walking to the park, gardening, arts and crafts, and more. We make personalized activity plans for each resident to ensure they stay engaged and happy.

How do you ensure the safety and well-being of residents?

We keep residents safe and well by training staff, meeting certification requirements, following regulations, and enforcing rules to ensure everyone's respect and safety. We welcome feedback to make improvements for our residents.

Can family members visit, and what are the visitation policies?

Absolutely, family members or supporters are welcomed to visit their loved ones anytime between 9:00am to 9:00pm without notice. Please note that this may change at times due to any outbreaks or during pandemics which will be communicated to you. Please ensure you have filled out a visitation log when entering the building.

What are the cost breakdown and do you offer promotions?

At Vida Care Homes, we have two main pricing categories: light care and intermediate care. These packages cover most of the residents' needs, including accommodation, meals, activities, daily living assistance, medication help, housekeeping, transportation, and care coordination. We also offer free amenities like cable, internet, telephone, and parking, which other care homes may charge for. We frequently have promotions and discounts to help ease any financial strain on our residents.
